Assuming sound as a universal language, this evening of live performance and a DJ set, looks at music as a mutable and ever-shifting means of expression.
Taking place at hybrid venue Trauma Bar und Kino in a new part of Berlin’s Quartier Heidestrasse, “Switching Codes” explores a developing culture where old and new codes come together in a composite visual and sonic vocabulary. Here, an emerging generation of non-prescriptive artists and audience members exist in the shadows of the curly pop continuum.
It’s a place where everything goes, and everyone gets it.
