a dance performance by Yotam Peled
A force in our chest expands and withdraws like the waves, at times aiming to devour us. A burden to carry. A role to play.
Is paradise a place with no structures? Are we capable of imagining it, even for a brief moment?
A single change of detail in the story of creation ultimately leads to a redistribution of power. In this parallel, dystopian existence, five individuals collide, and through their conflict unleash a rave - an attempt to free themselves from their chains of oppression.
ALPHA is an intense, highly physical dance performance that explores through acts of domination and submission, pleasure and pain, a possible transformation and extinction of gender roles.
