The term »lounge« serves as both a verb and a noun, describing the act of reclining in a relaxed posture, or a communal area designed for relaxation. This concept of relaxation forms the core of a duet intended for two women-identifying performers. In their performance, they navigate through various states of active and passive relaxation, leveraging the presence of one another to explore deeper levels of comfort and introspection.

Influenced profoundly by dance styles and auditory experiences originating from the African diaspora in Lisbon, Marga Alfeirão focuses on assertive expressions of femininity, carving out a niche for lesbian sensibilities. Trauma Bar und Kino is excited to showcase LOUNGE, featuring an enlarged cast, a year following its initial debut in Berlin.
